This beautifully designed cardigan is a must-have basic wardrobe piece, featuring inset pockets crafted in a unique knot stitch pattern, complemented by mock rib borders, cuffs, and button bands. I originally made this cardigan to enhance my winter office attire, which typically consists of a skirt, cardigan, tights, and boots. This cardigan is ingeniously worked in one continuous piece from the top down, utilizing short rows to skillfully shape the shoulders. Sleeves are picked up at the armholes, and short rows are employed to elegantly shape the sleeve cap, ensuring a perfect fit.
