Owned by the ever-inspiring Wendy, Yummi Yarns resides in an enchanting old-fashioned building adorned with rustic brick walls and beautifully worn hardwood floors. During my last visit, a rare and stunning find of cotton and linen yarn captivated my attention among the stunning array of gorgeously dyed wool offerings. In celebration of my dear friend Wendy and as a heartfelt farewell to my beloved North Carolina LYS, I designed the Downtown Cowl and Burnsville Shawl using three skeins of premium yarn from her shop. This design also incorporates her favorite cable pattern, Air Bender (modified to exclude the drops), available from my own collection. **Blocked Gauges:** 24 stitches and 30 rounds over 4”/10cm in Cable Pattern Round stitch using US 5 needles.
