Introducing a beautifully crafted hat made from 100% pure wool sourced from the Sheep and Wool Centre in Leenane, Co. Galway. This cozy and stylish hat is designed with the vibrant colors of the changing seasons in mind, making it a perfect accessory for any autumn or winter wardrobe. The hat features an intricate cable braid for the band, and once the ends are joined, stitches are carefully picked up and knit in the round to create the main body of the hat. To complete the look, a charming owl fabric button adds a delightful touch of whimsy.

In response to popular demand, I decided to revisit this cabled brimmed hat and expand the pattern to include four different sizes: child, adult small, adult medium, and adult large. Originally designed for "adult small," this hat quickly became a favorite of my seven-year-old bookworm princess, who adopted it as a floppy, slouchy beanie, showcasing its versatility and style. The largest size is highlighted here, and yes, I’ve borrowed the slouchy, relaxed look from my daughter, proving that this hat is perfect for any age!
