MATERIALS: To create your Dumka Hat, you will need 150 meters (165 yards) of worsted weight yarn. Our sample was made using the luxurious Malabrigo Rios in the stunning shade of Pocion, but feel free to explore your own favorite yarns!

RECOMMENDED NEEDLE SIZES: You will need a US#6/4.00 mm circular needle and a US#7/4.50 mm circular needle to complete this project. Ensure that you check your gauge before starting to maintain the proper fit.

GAUGE: Achieve a gauge of 20 stitches by 26 rows over 10 cm (4 inches) in Stockinette Stitch using the larger needle size to ensure a perfect fit for your Dumka Hat.

OTHER SUPPLIES: In addition to the yarn and needles, gather some waste yarn and an extra needle (the same size or one size smaller than the smaller needle) to work a provisional cast-on. You'll also need a crochet hook, stitch marker, and tapestry needle or hook for weaving in the ends.
