Introducing the Eaglehawk Bendigo Beanie, a beautifully designed garter stitch beanie that is part of my exclusive first knitted beanies set of patterns. This cozy and stylish beanie is named in honor of my grandfather, who was born in Bendigo in the nineteenth century. It holds a special place in my heart, as my grandfather’s wife, known for her love of knitting, inspired me with feminist ideals from a young age. This design serves as a tribute to their legacy and the warmth of their love. Additionally, I’ve created the Izzy Lou Poncho in memory of her, capturing the essence of a woman who valued creativity and expression. Together, they were lovingly known as Ted and Lou, embodying a family legacy of craftsmanship and nurturing.
