Earflap Hat with Cat Ears

Several years ago, I created a delightful cat hat that sparked my love for knitting. Fast forward to today, after gaining more experience, I'm thrilled to present an improved version of that hat. Recently, I rediscovered a unique method for crafting earflaps that brings me joy, eliminating the need for an inner lining. Plus, I absolutely adore how sturdier the ears have become with this updated design.

If you're comfortable with the basics of knitting, including basic decreases and increases, knitting in the round, and basic seaming techniques, then you're ready to dive into this fun and engaging pattern. This cat hat is not only adorable but also functional, making it a perfect accessory for chilly days.
