This special edition is produced in collaboration with Cascade Yarns and Rico Design, in support of the Aspley Guise Lower School’s ambitious goal to raise £80,000. Our aim is to create beautiful, functional designs that you will love while helping a wonderful cause.
This particular design offers fantastic benefits for parents who know all too well the challenge of accommodating their child's growth spurts. With that in mind, I have crafted this design to allow for easy adjustments, ensuring longevity and adaptability as your child grows.
Starting from the waistband, the pattern features a cast-off edge at both the shoulders and the hem of the skirt, making it a breeze to modify the length according to your child's needs. This thoughtful design ensures you can achieve the perfect fit without compromising on style.
Furthermore, the pattern includes a cast-off edge on the cuff and at the top of the sleeves, allowing for quick and easy alterations. Whether you need to shorten or lengthen the sleeves, this versatile feature gives you the flexibility to make adjustments effortlessly. The armhole edges have a unique wrap edging, providing the option to completely detach the sleeves if desired, transforming the piece as needed.
