This hat features an extra-long twisted rib and captivating lace detailing, all accompanied by a distinctive set of decreases that enhance its aesthetic appeal. SIZE: One size, fitting head circumferences of 56-58 cm/22-23 inches. The hat measures approximately 21 cm/8¼ inches from the cast-on edge to the top point of the hat, ensuring a comfortable and flattering fit for most.
MATERIALS: You'll need 160 meters/174 yards of Worsted weight yarn to complete this project. The sample was skillfully crafted using Malabrigo Rios in the gorgeous shade 846 Winter Lake, which beautifully showcases the intricate details of the pattern.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLE SIZES: For optimal results, we recommend using a US#6/4.0 mm circular needle and a US#7/4.5 mm circular needle. These sizes will help you achieve the perfect gauge for your hat.
GAUGE: To ensure your beautifully crafted hat fits correctly, aim for a gauge of 20 stitches x 28 rows over 10 cm/4 inches in Stockinette stitch with the larger needle. Always check your gauge before starting to ensure a perfect fit!
OTHER NECESSITIES: Don’t forget to gather 5 stitch markers (with one being different to indicate the beginning of the round) and a tapestry needle for seamless weaving and finishing touches.
