Elain Shawl

Introducing the Elain Shawl, the enchanting first design in a series of three shawls inspired by the beloved book series “A Court of Thorn and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas. This beautifully crafted shawl emerges from a unique collaboration with indie dyer Angela of Pretty Twisted Knots, whose passion for these captivating stories has influenced the exquisite colorways inspired by the characters.

The Elain Shawl draws inspiration from the character Elain, a figure known for her love of nature and her inner resilience. This elegant shawlette boasts a simple yet delicate design, capturing the essence of Elain's garden and her strength in a beautiful crescent shape. The shawl features intricate flower eyelet lace that adds a touch of whimsy, coupled with a strong but delicate border that perfectly symbolizes her character’s depth.

When designing the Elain Shawl, my goal was to embody these characteristics and create a piece that resonates with fans of the series as well as passionate knitters. I am thrilled with the final design and believe it captures the spirit of Elain beautifully. I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing the first of our three collaborative shawls as much as we do.
