Skill Level: Beginner - This pattern is worked in the round and involves simple techniques including knit, purl, and basic decreases. You'll be able to create this stylish beanie with ease!

Gauge: To achieve the perfect fit, aim for 19 stitches and 24 rows over a 4”/10 cm square in stockinette stitch when blocked.

Sizes Available: Small (Medium, Large) to fit head circumferences of 17.5” (19”, 21”)/44.5 (48.5, 53.5) cm. The finished size of the hat measures 13.25” (15”, 16.75”)/34 (38, 42.5) cm around and 9”/23 cm high. The model shown is in size Medium.

Recommended Yarn: You will need 85 (98, 110) yards/78 (90, 101) meters of bulky weight yarn. For the sample, we used MountainTop Chalet by Classic Elite Yarns, which consists of 10% baby alpaca and 30% bamboo viscose, providing ultra-soft texture (98 yards/90 meters per 1.75 ounces/50 gram skein). If you're looking for alternatives, Cascade Yarns Cloud and Eco Cloud also share a similar chained texture and lightweight feel, making them perfect choices for this beanie. Both Eco Cloud and MountainTop Chalet come in beautiful undyed natural colors that showcase the unique texture of the stitches.
