Discover our seamless top-down sweater pattern, perfect for knitters of all skill levels. This stylish garment begins with a high collar or turtleneck, expertly worked before transitioning into a beautiful circular yoke that leads seamlessly to the underarm. Once the body is completed, you will finish off with knitted sleeves in the round, creating a polished and professional finish.

This entire sweater is worked in the round, with the exception of a short-row section designed to raise the neckline for added flair. If you're new to short rows and feeling hesitant, don’t worry! They can be omitted if you prefer a simpler execution.

For this project, we recommend using Sirdar Harrap Tweed DK yarn in Color Shade 0114. You'll need approximately 155 meters per skein, and the pattern calls for 8 (9, 10, 12, 14) skeins depending on your chosen size. Use long circular 4.5mm needles for the body and short 4.5mm needles or double-pointed needles (DPNs) for the turtleneck and sleeves.

Make sure to check your gauge: the recommended gauge is 18 stitches x 28 rows per 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) using 4.5mm needles knitted in the round. We're aiming for a loose, comfortable fit that drapes beautifully.

This knitting pattern offers a variety of sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL), with bust measurements of 95(100,109,116,127) cm / 37.5(39.5,43,45.5,50) inches. For those opting for larger sizes, simply continue increasing during the yoke section for a perfect fit. The overall length of the sweater is 53(54,55,56,56) cm / 21(21.25,21.75,22,22) inches, and the sleeves can be customized to your desired length, with a standard length of 48 cm / 19 inches.
