However, the tedious task of weaving in the numerous ends that often accompany striped projects isn't exactly my favorite. That's why I created these delightful mitts that embrace all the charm of stripes without the hassle of extra ends!
Featuring a cozy 1x1 ribbing on the inside of each opening, these mitts offer exceptional comfort and warmth, making them perfect for chilly days. If you're looking to elevate your knitting projects with a fun and functional accessory, look no further!
**Yarn, Needles, and Gauge by Size:**
- Medium: Fits hands with a 7.5" circumference. Uses fingering weight yarn; approximately 200 yards of main color and 100 yards of contrast color. You'll need US1 (2.25mm) double-pointed or circular needles to achieve the gauge. Gauge: 34 sts and 38 rows = 4" (10cm) in stranded colorwork.
- Large: Fits hands with an 8" circumference. Utilizes sport weight yarn; approximately 230 yards of main color and 115 yards of contrast color. For this size, use US1 1/2 (2.5mm) double-pointed or circular needles to meet the gauge. Gauge: 31 sts and 34 rows = 4" (10cm) in stranded colorwork.
