The yarn used in this project boasts a lovely homespun appearance and a soft, squishy texture, making it ideal for creating a large, comfortable shawl. You’ll love draping it over your shoulders or wrapping it around yourself on chilly days.

**Size**: The finished Espresso Shawl measures a generous 68”/172.5cm wide and 30”/76cm long, providing plenty of coverage and warmth.

**Yarn**: For this pattern, you will need 4 skeins of Plymouth Yarn Company's “Coffee Beenz” (214 yard/196m per skein, 3.5 oz/100g), made from a blend of 25% wool and 75% acrylic. The color used in the sample is 9003 Bark. Alternatively, feel free to select 800 yards/732m of your favorite worsted-aran weight yarn that meets the gauge requirements.

**Needles**: Use a US 10 (6mm) circular needle, 32-40”/80-100cm long, or any size necessary to achieve a close gauge. Don’t forget to have a stitch marker handy!

**Gauge**: Achieve a gauge of 15.5 stitches and 28 rows equating to 4”/10cm in garter stitch once blocked. Note that the gauge isn’t strictly critical, allowing for some flexibility in your knitting.
