Facet Dishcloth

$1.50

The Facet Dishcloth is an enjoyable and practical knit dishcloth pattern that features the delightful diamond brocade stitch, complemented by a garter stitch top and bottom edging, as well as an I-cord side edging for a polished finish. These charming dishcloths are incredibly quick to knit, making them an ideal project for both novice and experienced knitters. Not only do they serve a functional purpose in your home and kitchen, but they also add a touch of handmade charm that is difficult to replicate with store-bought alternatives.

One of the many reasons I adore crafting handmade dishcloths is their durability and longevity. You can easily toss them in the washer and dryer, and they'll maintain their quality for years to come! There's something special about using a product that you've made with your own hands, and these dishcloths offer that personal touch. Perfect for gifting or sprucing up your own kitchen setup, they are a must-have for anyone who enjoys knitting.

This pattern is knit using the incredibly soft and squishy Knit Picks Dishie yarn, although you can choose any worsted weight cotton yarn that you can achieve the required gauge with. This versatility allows you to select your favorite colors and textures to match your personal style!

Size: Approx. 8 x 8 inches / 20 x 20 cm. If you’d like, it's simple to adjust the size to suit your preferences or needs.

Needles required: 5 mm/US 8. You may need to have other needle sizes available to meet gauge, depending on your yarn selection.

Yarn required: Any worsted weight cotton yarn that meets gauge. I used the beautiful Knit Picks Dishie yarn (190 yards per 100 g ball) in the refreshing Clarity colorway.

Yardage required: Approximately 30 g / 57 yards of yarn. With such a small amount needed, this is a great way to use up leftover yarn from other projects!

Craft your own Facet Dishcloth and enjoy the blend of functionality and beauty it brings to your cleaning routine, while also enhancing your knitting skills along the way! Perfect as a standalone project or as part of a larger collection of handmade kitchen accessories.
