Materials Needed
To create these lovely mittens, you will need DK Weight Yarn. The pattern calls for a total of 204 yards (186 meters) of yarn: 131 yards (120 meters) for the Main Color (MC) and 73 yards (67 meters) for the Contrast Color (CC). We’ve included a 10% buffer in all amounts to ensure you have enough yarn for your project. For our sample, we used Cape May Fiber Co DK Merino yarn, which is 100% Superwash Merino featuring a generous 231 yards (211 meters) per 3.5 oz (100 gram) skein.
Color Selections
For the Main Color, we chose Festivus, a charming white yarn adorned with delightful speckles of pink, gold, purple, and blue—perfect for adding a festive touch to your winter wardrobe!
