This lightweight top is the perfect addition to your spring and early fall wardrobe. Designed for versatility, it showcases short sleeves but also includes comprehensive instructions for long sleeves, allowing you to customize your look. The delicate lace pattern not only adds a touch of feminine elegance but also serves to enhance the shaping of the garment; we’ve included detailed instructions for a curvier silhouette, ensuring a flattering fit for all body types.

Finished Size:

Chest measurements range from 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches, with sleeve circumferences measuring 12.75(13.75, 14.5, 16.25, 17, 17.75) inches. The length of the top varies from 14(14.5, 15, 16, 16.5, 17) inches, making it an ideal choice for layering or wearing solo during the warmer months.

Yarn: For this pattern, we recommend using Savvy Skeins Sensible Sock, which is composed of 80% Superwash Merino and 2% Nylon, boasting 420 yards per 100g skein. To complete your project, you will need 2(3, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins, depending on your size. The 44” sample was knitted in the stunning Gemstone colorway, using approximately 1000 yards of yarn. If you opt for long sleeves, please note that you will require additional yarn, so be sure to plan accordingly to avoid running out mid-project.

Needles: For optimal results, use a US #5/3.75mm circular needle, measuring 32 inches or longer. Larger sizes may find a longer needle more comfortable. Additionally, keep a set of US #5/3.75mm double-pointed needles or your preferred method handy for small circumference knitting in the round. Remember, you can always adjust your needle size to achieve the desired gauge.

Gauge: To ensure your finished top matches the pattern sizing, aim for a gauge of 20 stitches and 28 rows per 4” square in blocked stockinette stitch, worked in the round. This gauge is key to achieving the correct fit and flow of the design.

Let your creativity shine as you knit this beautiful top, perfect for transitioning between seasons. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or just starting out, this pattern is a delightful project that will keep you stylish and comfortable!
