Finding Balance Mittens - knitting pattern

Finding Balance Mittens

$4.50

Welcome to your new favorite knitting project! This detailed PDF pattern guides you in crafting a warm and cozy pair of mittens, perfectly designed to complement the stylish Finding Balance Hat. Whether you are an advanced knitter or a beginner seeking a delightful challenge, these mittens are the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe.

In this pattern, I’ve chosen to work with just two shades of Jamieson's Spindrift yarn, enhancing simplicity and elegance. However, feel free to unleash your creativity by using multiple colors for a vibrant fairisle design that truly showcases your personal style!

For this project, you will need just over one ball of your chosen background color (I used 28g for the background), along with one ball of a contrasting color to create visual interest. The finished mittens measure approximately 9.75 inches in length and are designed to fit a hand circumference of around 7.5 inches. If you wish to adjust the size, you can easily do so by changing your needle size up or down to achieve the perfect fit.

This pattern is worked in the round on a pair of 40cm long circular needles, though you can opt for short double-pointed needles (DPNs) if you prefer. The design features a practical gusseted thumb that sits beautifully on the palm side of the glove, ensuring comfort and ease of movement.

I genuinely hope you enjoy making these delightful mittens as much as I did! I would love to see your unique creations. Don’t forget to tag me in your posts and use the hashtag #findingbalancemittens so we can celebrate your beautiful handiwork together.

Happy Knitting and enjoy this fun project! Your cozy winter days await!
