You will need 450 yards per 4oz skein, with a total of 2(2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins required for completion. The sample was knit using the color Titania, with the 44” sample weighing 190g and utilizing 756 yards of yarn, showcasing the stunning drape and texture of this exquisite silk yarn.
Needles: To bring this cardigan to life, use a US #5/3.75mm circular needle, with a length of at least 32 inches or longer for the body of the cardigan (larger sizes may prefer an even longer needle for comfort). Additionally, have needles ready for your preferred technique for knitting small circumferences in the round.
Feel free to adjust needle sizes as needed to achieve gauge!
Gauge: For this cardigan, aim for a gauge of 20 stitches and 28 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch. Maintaining the correct gauge is essential to ensure that your finished cardigan fits perfectly and showcases its lovely design.
Add this exquisite cardigan to your collection of knitting patterns and enjoy a timeless piece that can be layered and worn all year round. Its unique combination of texture and style makes it an essential project for knitters seeking elegance and comfort in their handmade wardrobe.
