Introducing the Fjolla knitting pattern, a beautifully designed project worked seamlessly from the top down. This stunning garment utilizes 2 strands of the luxurious mYak Baby Yak Lace held double throughout the entire pattern. The creative yoke shaping is achieved through a modified version of the contiguous set-in sleeves method developed by the renowned designer Susie Myers. The process begins with the yoke crafted back and forth until reaching the final neck cast-on. Once the neck shaping is completed, you will then work the yoke in rounds until reaching the sleeve separation point. At this stage, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold while you cast on new stitches for the underarms. The body of the garment continues in rounds until you reach the ribbing, completing the main section of this exquisite piece. Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up again to knit the sleeves in rounds from the top down to the cuffs, ensuring a perfect fit. The finishing touches for the neckline are added last, completing your beautiful creation.

The gauge for this project is 21 stitches by 30 rows, which equates to a 4-inch (10 cm) square in stockinette stitch when using larger needles after blocking. Achieving the correct gauge is essential for the best fit and overall appearance of your finished garment.
