Introducing our reversible knit hat, an effortless and quick project that is perfect for gift-giving or for those emergency scenarios when your child announces they've lost their only hat right in the middle of a heavy snowstorm! This cozy knit is designed to be stretchy and adaptable, ensuring that our four available sizes will comfortably fit most anyone, from kids to adults.
When brainstorming a fun name for this whimsical hat, my friend—who graciously modeled it for me—suggested something quite lengthy: "It's -23, your friend wants you to climb a fence and fall blindly backward off of it, and instead, you opt for an ungraceful flop that achieves more or less the same thing" hat. While that's definitely too long for a product name, it inspired an engaging theme for our knitting community!
As part of the launch, we invite you to join in on the fun! Anyone who purchases this knitting pattern, completes the hat, and posts a photo of someone (safely!) falling off a fence into the snow (or a creative alternative if snow isn't available) by December 31, 2014, will receive a $5 gift code to my Ravelry store.
