For your convenience, we provide precise yardage recommendations for each component of the blanket: approximately 45g (150m/164 yd) for the top border and all around; about 60g (201m/220 yd) for the background; around 15g (50m/55 yd) for both ears; 20g (67m/73 yd) for the body; and just 5 meters of scrap yarn for the tail. It’s important to check the yardage on your chosen yarn label, as different brands may have varying lengths for the same weight classification.

After washing and blocking, the finished size and gauge will yield a beautifully snug and cozy blanket perfect for keeping little ones warm and comfortable. We recommend using a needle size of 3 or 4mm to achieve the best results.
