Florice Shawl

$6.79

Introducing the Florice Shawl, a versatile and stunning accessory that can be crafted with your favorite fingering weight mini skeins or any leftover yarn you may have on hand. This beautiful shawl features a unique design composed of four repeating stitch patterns, making it not only a joy to knit but also a perfect canvas for your creativity. With the opportunity to use any colors or quantities of yarn, you'll enjoy the freedom to customize your Florice Shawl to perfectly suit your personal style. For this version, I utilized five different colors and about 500 yards of yarn, but feel free to experiment! To achieve a balanced look, I recommend using an odd number of colors; this will help prevent the same color from appearing with the same stitch pattern repetitively—unless, of course, that's the aesthetic you’re going for!

Here’s a list of the yarns I used, along with the order of use:

  • A: Knit One Crochet Too Mini Crock-O-Dye in Deep Plum (125 yds; 65% Superwash Wool, 20% Nylon, 15% Silk)
  • B: Anzula Luxury Yarns Squishy in Misfit (96 yds; 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon)
  • C: Oink Pigments Oink Targhee Sock in Desert Dessert (100 yds; 90% USA Superwash Targhee, 10% Nylon)
  • D: Sweet Georgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Lupine (105 yds; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)
  • E: Lorna’s Laces Staccato Shepherd Sock in Argon (107 yds; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)

Get ready to create a stunning Florice Shawl that showcases your unique taste and leftover yarns! Whether you're a beginner looking for a manageable project or an experienced knitter seeking a fun challenge, this shawl is perfect for you. Happy knitting!
