Introducing a delightful lace pattern specifically designed to seamlessly fit between the increase rounds of the iconic Pi Shawl. Once you set up the lace pattern, you can relax and enjoy your knitting without constant counting. We all appreciate the opportunity for mindless knitting, right?

This PDF includes detailed charts and comprehensive instructions for the lace insertions in the Pi Shawl, originally envisioned by the legendary knitter Elizabeth Zimmermann. Please note that this document does not contain the original Pi Shawl instructions. To fully enjoy this pattern, you will need to have a copy of the original Pi Shawl pattern, which can be found in the classic book, Knitter's Almanac, or other reputable sources.

Correction to the Pattern (September 21): Please be aware that the triangle symbol in the pattern is intended to represent a centered double decrease, rather than the previously mentioned slip 1, k1, psso. To execute the centered double decrease correctly, please follow these steps: slip 2 stitches knitwise together, knit 1 stitch, and then pass the slipped stitches over. A big thank you to luvthesnow for bringing this to our attention! We will be updating the PDF promptly to reflect this correction.

Whether you're an experienced knitter or just starting your knitting journey, this lace pattern adds a beautiful touch to your Pi Shawl. Enjoy the process of creating something unique and intricate, all while having the freedom to knit without the hassle of counting rows!
