Four Winds

This elegant hat pattern was first published in the online magazine Twist Collective, and later revised for the original edition of Extreme Double-Knitting. However, due to a contract dispute and various other factors, I chose to completely redesign the hat for the 2018 revision of Extreme Double-Knitting. This updated version offers fresh new techniques and a unique look.

Shortly after the new book was printed, Twist Collective dissolved and returned the rights to the original pattern. With the original book now out of print and the new book's version of the hat differing significantly, it became clear that it was the perfect time to refresh and re-release the original pattern for knitting enthusiasts who still wish to create this timeless piece.
