The sleeves are crafted separately, picked up from live stitches for a polished finish. Our unique construction method combines both contiguous and raglan techniques, providing excellent fit and comfort. For this project, we used high-quality New Lanark 100% Pure Wool Aran, but suitable alternatives are readily available for those who prefer different yarns.
Sizes (Chest Size): This sweater is designed to be worn with an ease of approximately 0-+5cm/ 0-+2 in at the shoulder and sleeve, while offering a generous 50% ease at the chest for a relaxed fit. Here are the measurements for each size:
- XS: To fit actual chest 71-76 cm / 28-30 in. Finished garment chest: 143 cm / 56 ¼ in.
- S: To fit actual chest 81-86 cm / 32-34 in. Finished garment chest: 150 cm / 59 in.
- M: To fit actual chest 91-96 cm / 36-38 in. Finished garment chest size: 163 cm / 64 in.
- L: To fit actual chest 96-101 cm / 40-42 in. Finished garment size: 180 cm / 70 ¾ in.
- XL: To fit actual chest 111-116 cm / 44-46 in. Finished garment size: 200 cm / 78 ¾ in.
- XXL: To fit actual chest 122-127 cm / 48-50 in. Finished garment size: 212 cm / 83 ¾ in.
