Gauge: Achieve the perfect fit with our gauge specifications:
- Using 2.5mm (US 1.5) needles: 36 stitches / 50 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) knitted in the round in stockinette stitch.
- Using 2.25mm (US 1) needles: 45 stitches / 50 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) knitted in the round in stockinette stitch.
Sizes: The pattern is adaptable for various sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4). The finished sock circumference for each size is:
- Size 1: 17 cm (6.7 inches)
- Size 2: 22 cm (8.6 inches)
- Size 3: 27 cm (10.6 inches)
- Size 4: 32 cm (12.6 inches)
Keep in mind that the design has approximately 2 cm of negative ease for a snug fit. When shopping for yarn, you'll need approximately 1 skein of 100g sock yarn for sizes 1-3 and 2 skeins for size 4. If you prefer working with 50g skeins, plan for 2 skeins for sizes 1-2 and 3 skeins for sizes 3-4.
