Introducing our adorable knitted frogs, crafted from my latest knitting pattern! These charming little amphibians are made using small amounts of 4ply sock wool, making them the perfect project for utilizing those leftover yarn scraps that you might have lying around. Not only do I think they’re absolutely cute, but I’m confident you will find them delightful too!

The frog pieces are knitted flat, featuring some clever short rows that create lovely curves, giving each frog its unique shape. For this project, you'll need a set of double-pointed needles, as there are several rows of i-cord knitting involved, as well as a touch of cabling to enhance their features. To add a playful flair, the speckles on the frogs are achieved using simple French knots, making them even more visually appealing!

Once finished, each frog measures approximately 14cm from top to toe when fully stretched out. You can choose to display your frog as an adorable swimming or jumping figure, or if you prefer a more permanent sitting pose, I provide easy-to-follow instructions on how to fold its legs and secure them with a few additional stitches.
