These top-down socks feature a classic traditional heel flap, ensuring a comfortable fit and excellent durability. The pattern is crafted using the popular magic loop technique; simply designate needle 1 for the front of the foot and leg, while needle 2 will serve the back of the foot, leg, and heel. To enhance their visual appeal, I’ve incorporated a contrasting color for the cuff and toe. However, if you prefer a more streamlined look, feel free to omit the contrasting color and create a stunning pair in a single shade!
If you have a wider calf, consider using a larger needle size for the cast-on and the first 2-3 inches of the leg. This small adjustment can significantly enhance the fit, ensuring that your socks stay up comfortably on your leg.
