Fuji Mittens
Discover a stunning knitting pattern inspired by Hiroshige's iconic "38 Views of Mount Fuji." This unique design features a complementary seamless panoramic chart, perfect for creating beautiful hats or sweaters. The chart spans 63 stitches wide, allowing for a visually striking finish to your projects. After crafting my first sample pair of mittens, I made some modifications for better fit and comfort. The initial version was too long for my liking, prompting me to omit the cuff with the wave design. However, I’ve included the wave chart in the PDF, giving you the option to incorporate it into your mittens if you desire an extra touch of elegance. This knitting pattern is an exciting challenge that offers a rewarding outcome. Please note that due to the long yarn floats, you will need to wrap the yarn on the wrong side of your work every 2-3 stitches to maintain even tension and a polished look. Additionally, the left mitten features a small bit of duplicate stitch embroidery around the mountain design, but don’t worry—it's just a few stitches that add a lovely detail to your project.
