Needles and Tools
You will require US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles (both 16" [40 cm] and 24” [60 cm]) and double-pointed needles (DPNs) for ribbing. Additionally, US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles (16" [40 cm] and 24” [60 cm]) and DPNs are necessary, or you can use sizes necessary to achieve the correct gauges.
Gauges
To ensure your project turns out perfectly, aim for a gauge of 18 stitches / 28 rounds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch on the larger needles, after blocking. For the stunning Cable Panel section, aim for a gauge of 49 stitches / 8 rounds = 7" [17.75 cm] wide and 1¼” [3.25 cm] high, also measured after blocking.
