The beauty of this mix is that the different yarns average themselves out, resulting in a beautifully loose and textured fabric that drapes elegantly. Since this garment is knit sideways, achieving the perfect width is more important than exact tension, making it a relaxing project for knitters of all skill levels!
**Yarn Requirements:** Approximately 690 (766, 922, 1004, 1181) m / 755 (838, 1008, 1098, 1292) yds of a variety of yarns will suffice for a complete garment, allowing for a playful exploration of colors and textures.
**Tension Gauge:** For this pattern, you'll need to maintain a tension of 12 stitches and 17 rows = 10 cm / 4" over stockinette stitch (St st) using 8mm needles, while striping 2 rows of each yarn for a loose tension. Alternatively, if you prefer to incorporate ribbing, aim for 22 stitches and 24 rows = 10 cm / 4" over a 1X1 rib using 5.5mm needles, also striping 2 rows of each yarn to ensure a cohesive look.
