Fuwari Sweater Pattern - Lightweight Shallow V-Neck Sweater
Introducing the Fuwari Sweater, an elegantly designed lightweight shallow v-neck sweater that’s perfect for layering or wearing alone. Inspired by the word "Fuwari," which means fluffy in Japanese, this airy garment provides both comfort and style. Ideal for those looking to add a touch of sophistication to their wardrobe, the Fuwari Sweater is crafted to be breezy and versatile.
This delightful design is worked flat for the upper body, seamlessly transitioning into a round construction for the remainder of the body. Additionally, the body and sleeve lengths can be easily adjusted to suit your personal style. The hemline for both the body and sleeves is knitted flat, ensuring a polished finish. I am confident that this stunning sweater will quickly become your favorite outfit, whether you're dressing up for an occasion or lounging at home.
MATERIALS:
- Yarn: Light fingering weight
- Use 3(3/3/3/4) balls of Holst Garn Coast (350m/383 yards per 50g) in the beautiful Colour Kingfisher.
- You will need approximately 720(810/920/1030/1140)m (790(890/1010/1130/1250) yards). I completed the size S with only 700m, but some test knitters required more, which is why I'm providing extra yardage recommendations for all sizes.
Needle Size: Use a 2.5mm circular needle (Please adjust the needle size according to your chosen yarn for the best results.)
Gauge: 21 stitches x 25 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Notions Needed: Be sure to have stitch markers and a tapestry needle on hand as you work on your Fuwari Sweater.
