Yarn: Choose #3 Light (DK) weight yarn for this beautiful pullover, with a total required yardage of 375 (525, 675, 795, 1025, 1165) yards or 345 (485, 620, 730, 940, 1070) meters. This total should include a minimum requirement of each color as follows: Color A—for stranded patterning, corrugated ribbing, and the bands framing the stranded design as well as finishing the lower sleeves—requires 170 (185, 225, 245, 265, 280) yards or 155 (170, 205, 225, 245, 255) meters. Both Color B and Color C, used for the stranded patterns and corrugated ribbing, will each need 65 (70, 80, 85, 90, 100) yards or 60 (65, 75, 80, 85, 90) meters.

The stripe pattern has been thoughtfully designed to equalize the amount of yarn used across all colors, enhancing the visual appeal of the finished garment while ensuring an efficient use of materials.

The body of the pullover is crafted in the round up to the armholes, and the upper front and back sections are worked flat for a clean finish. After skillfully joining the shoulders using a 3-needle bind-off, you'll pick up sleeve stitches around the armholes, allowing you to complete the sleeves seamlessly as you work down in the round.

This pattern not only provides stunning aesthetics but also incorporates easy adjustments for sleeve length. The sleeves are shaped with paired decreases along their length, and a final decrease round where six stitches are decreased just before the cuff helps achieve a custom fit.

Whether you are an experienced knitter or just starting your knitting journey, this pullover offers a fantastic opportunity to practice your skills and create a stylish, cozy piece to add to your wardrobe. Enjoy the process of knitting while watching the colors come together in a delightful design!
