Garter Hug

When we decided to carry Araucania’s kettle-dyed lace weight cashmere, Trauco, my first thought was of creating a luxurious and soft shawl to wrap around my neck. I envisioned a piece that was not only simple but also featured a touch of pizzazz to elevate its elegance. After experimenting with the classic neck-down garter shawl concept, I crafted this delightful design, which I affectionately call the Cashmere Garter Hug. It’s a perfect blend of comfort and style—absolutely scrumptious!

Dimensions: This gorgeous shawl was lightly wet-blocked for an airy feel (please note that no blocking wires were used; it was simply laid flat on a towel for drying). The finished dimensions measure 62 inches across and 14.5 inches deep at the center.
