Gentle Waves Socks

Introducing the Gentle Waves Socks, a charming knitting pattern inspired by my beautifully crafted shawl design of the same name. The creation of these delightful socks was a wonderful way to utilize the leftover yarn from the shawl. The original pair features a stunning main color complemented by four unique mini skeins, while the second version showcases two harmonious colors. Of course, you can let your creativity shine by knitting these socks in a single color or experimenting with various colors for each wave!

The Gentle Waves Socks are carefully knit using garter sections that are gracefully adorned with delicate wave-like lace patterns. This knitting pattern includes a thoughtfully designed wedge toe and a Wrap and Turn short row heel, but you can easily customize the toe and heel to fit your personal knitting style. The pattern is created using the magic loop method, making it accessible for knitters of all levels; however, it can also be easily adapted for those who prefer to use double-pointed needles (DPNs).

Inside this pattern, you will find both comprehensive written instructions and clear charts specifically designed for the lace panel, ensuring that your knitting experience is as enjoyable as possible.

Sizes: Available in Small, Medium, and Large. Small size fits an 8” (20cm) foot circumference, Medium size fits a 9” (23cm) foot circumference, and Large size fits a 10” (25cm) foot circumference.

Needles: You'll need 2.25mm (US 1) circular needles for the magic loop method or double-pointed needles (DPNs) to suit your preference. Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 9 stitches per inch and 12 rows per inch using a 2.25mm needle in stocking stitch.
