As with many of my popular cardigan designs, Girly Pink Spring is knit from the top down, ensuring a seamless and comfortable fit. The construction begins with a few rows of the back section to establish the silhouette. Afterward, you carefully pick up the provisional cast-on stitches at the shoulders and work several rows for each front. At this stage, you also pick up stitches along the tops of the armholes to join all elements together, allowing you to work the front, sleeves, and back seamlessly in one piece. The armholes are beautifully shaped through increases as you continue knitting downwards, promoting an elegant drape. The entire upper section is knitted simultaneously, maintaining a cohesive design until it's time to separate the sleeve stitches from the body. From there, you can enjoy the creative freedom of working the body and sleeves independently.
