SIZES:
This knitting pattern is available in sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5), designed for a finished foot circumference measuring 17.5 cm (18.75 cm, 20 cm, 21.25 cm, 22.5 cm) or approximately 7” (7.5”, 8”, 8.5”, 9”). We recommend crafting these cozy socks with 0-2.5 cm / 0-1” of negative ease to ensure the perfect snug fit.
GAUGE:
For this pattern, we offer two versions of gauge:
- Version A: Achieve a gauge of 32 stitches x 44 rounds = 10 cm / 4” (worked in the round in Stockinette Stitch using a 2.25 mm / US 1 needle, after blocking).
- Version B: Achieve a gauge of 30 stitches x 42 rounds = 10 cm / 4” (also worked in the round in Stockinette Stitch on a 2.25 mm / US 1 needle, after blocking).
NEEDLES:
To achieve the recommended gauge, use a 2.25 mm / US 1 circular needle. Ensure your needle has a cable length of at least 60 cm / 24” to accommodate the Magic Loop technique for seamless knitting.
NOTIONS:
Gather your essential knitting tools, which include optional blocking tools, a darning needle, scrap yarn or a stitch holder, stitch markers, and a tape measure for measuring your work as you go.
