Grace Yoga Mitts

After my teacher invited me to showcase some knitted accessories in the studio, I began with the popular Grace Yoga Hat (available on Patternfish) and was inspired to create matching fingerless gloves—the delightful Grace Yoga Mitts!

These Grace Yoga Mitts are designed to cater to everyone, featuring three sizes: tweens and teens, adult women, and adult men. The pattern showcases a straightforward yet attractive design, making it perfect for both novice and experienced knitters. You'll kick off the project with snug K1P1 ribbing for the cuff, ensuring a comfortable fit. Then, you'll switch to a larger needle to dive into the engaging pattern stitch: a simple series of stockinette rounds interspersed with a garter ridge every four rounds. The pattern even includes detailed instructions for constructing a gusset for the thumb, ensuring a perfect fit and allowing for greater dexterity. To finish, you’ll complete the fingertip cuff with six additional rounds of ribbing, giving the mitts a polished look.
