Exciting news from Unraveled Sheep in Sandy, Utah! Verla, the talented owner, and I have collaborated once again to create a stunning 1-skein project featuring her latest selection of exquisite yarns. Earlier this month, we dove into the design process early Thursday morning, navigating through multiple rounds of ripping out and restarting until 5:00 p.m. By that evening, we were thrilled to confirm that at least half of the shawl design was working beautifully. I took the project home and added a few more intricate edgings, and by Sunday, I was absolutely beaming with pride. The finished shawl exceeded our expectations and turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! Verla served as my dedicated test knitter, crafting the design using Artyarn’s luxurious Beaded Mohair yarn, which resulted in a stunning piece that truly highlights its unique qualities. I must admit, the photographs we took do not do justice to the beautiful shimmering beads or the sumptuous feel of the yarn.
