Once upon a time, I received an invitation to a stunning black-tie winter wedding. Searching for the perfect attire, I stumbled upon a gorgeous sleeveless, peacock blue silk dress that truly captured my heart. However, I needed an elegant accessory to ward off the winter chill. That's when I discovered the timeless beauty of a charcoal gray wrap, which complements any skin tone beautifully! With just the right touch of sparkly beads woven throughout the wrap, it provides an exquisite “glitter” effect, ensuring you feel festive without overwhelming your look—nothing too flashy that would make you feel like you've stepped out of Vegas!

Since I knew I wouldn’t always have the opportunity to wear the wrap, I decided to create a versatile cowl pattern as well. This cowl is less fussy than the wrap but just as enjoyable to knit, making it an ideal accessory for both formal and casual occasions alike!

**Additional Materials Needed:**
You will need 140 size 6 (4mm) beads, or beads of your choice. Just make sure they fit over a knit stitch easily! You can also opt to pre-string them if that works better for you. Feel free to experiment with different types of beads to add a personal touch to your project!

**Tools Needed:**
For this pattern, you will require a size US 2 (2.75mm) needle, which can be either straight or circular for working the body of the garment. Additionally, a circular needle of 32” (81.3cm) or larger is essential for executing the border seamlessly. Don’t forget to have some waste yarn, a stitch holder, or a spare needle on hand as well, to assist with your knitting process!

Whether you're preparing for a winter wedding yourself or simply want to elevate your knitwear collection, this charming wrap and cowl pattern is perfect for showcasing your knitting skills while keeping you warm and stylish. Happy knitting!
