Discover the beauty of diagonal lines in this delightful stole pattern, perfect for knitters seeking a fun project that showcases the elegance of lace knitting. This pattern features a stunning single-ply yarn with a unique bias, expertly utilized to create a breathtaking suspended bead edging that gracefully hangs in delicate twists from each end of the stole.

This comprehensive pattern includes both charted and fully written instructions, accommodating every knitter's preference. Plus, it comes with a bonus PDF specifically formatted for easy viewing on your e-reader or smartphone, making on-the-go knitting a breeze.

Yarn Requirement
To complete this beautiful stole, you will need 840 yards (770 meters) of lace weight yarn. For the best results, we recommend using a drapey single-ply yarn with bias, as this will help achieve the intricately twisted beaded fringe. Without this specific yarn, the fringe may hang in simple loops rather than the exquisite twists we aim for.

Needles and Notions
Prepare to gather your supplies! You'll need US 5 (3.75mm) needles, a tapestry needle for weaving in ends, and if you choose to add embellishment, 88 glass beads along with a beading needle or a piece of wire (optional). Don’t forget about blocking pins and/or wires to shape your finished stole to perfection.

The stole itself is constructed in two pieces, seamlessly joined together with the Kitchener stitch at one end. With a focus on simple yet changing lace techniques, this pattern offers flexibility—easily shorten or expand the stole at each end to suit your style and needs.
