In June 2021, after receiving my full COVID vaccination, I was excited to embark on a memorable trip to the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland. However, my adventure took an unexpected turn when, less than a week into my travels, I found myself isolated for over a week due to testing positive for COVID while staying in a hotel room in Reykjavik. During this challenging time, I was grateful for the compassionate support of the Icelandic Red Cross. With some leftover yarn from knitting Renee Leverington’s delightful Brigid Socks earlier in the trip, I decided to channel my creativity into crafting a beautiful pair of matching gloves while in isolation.

This versatile glove pattern is designed to be knitted in the round, ensuring a seamless finish that enhances both comfort and style. I’ve thoughtfully included a variety of options throughout the pattern, allowing you to customize your gloves to fit your personal preferences, including:
