Needles: For this pattern, a 4 mm / US 6 circular needle is recommended, with a length of either 80 or 100 cm (32” or 40”). These needles will help you achieve the desired drape and stitch definition in your finished piece.

Notions: Essential knitting notions include stitch markers—I personally use them to keep track of each lace repeat, plus two additional markers for the border stitches. Don't forget your tapestry needle for finishing touches. If you decide to embellish your shawl with beads, you’ll need approximately 530 beads in size 6/0 and a small hook or dental floss to make the application easy and precise.
