The length of the jacket, from hem to neck, measures 35 cm (13 ¾ in), with variations available at 36 cm (14 ¼ in), 36.5 cm (14 ¼ in), 39 cm (15 ¼ in), 39 cm (15 ¼ in), 44 cm (17 ¼ in), 44 cm (17 ¼ in), and 45.5 cm (18 in). This flexibility in length allows you to create the ideal proportion that flatters your figure.
For this unique jacket, I’ve utilized one of my favorite stitches - a simple horizontal ribbing technique. This stitch not only provides an interesting texture but can also be blocked to adjust the length, making it a practical choice for any project.
The jacket is knitted using West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece DK weight yarn. This premium yarn is made from 100% British wool, offering a soft and luxurious feel at 225m (246 yards) per 100g hank. The shade used for this project is Berry (1036), and you will need 5 (or 6, 7, 8, 9) x 100g hanks, depending on the size you choose.
