Hap Yoke

The construction of this garment is straightforward: you begin by knitting the body and sleeves from the bottom up, then seamlessly join them together. After working the necessary shaping, you’ll turn the knitting inside out just before starting the chart. This unique technique showcases the reverse side, providing a beautiful garter stitch effect reminiscent of traditional hap shawls combined with the added structure of reverse stocking stitch.

You can choose to knit the yoke in the round by simply purling every alternate row, or follow my preferred method of working the yoke back and forth and seaming it at the end for a polished finish.
