Introducing our beautifully designed car seat blanket, meticulously crafted to complement my Cable and Lace cot blanket. This charming pattern incorporates similar design elements, featuring intricate cables, delicate lacey hearts, and a lovely pleated border that is knitted separately and sewn on for a polished finish.
The detailed pattern is presented as an 8-page PDF, which includes comprehensive charts, clear written instructions, and photographs capturing various stages of the knitting process. To create this stunning car seat blanket, you'll need approximately 450 meters of DK yarn and circular needles sized between 3-4mm. The recommended needle size may vary based on your personal knitting tension; I prefer using 3mm needles due to my loose knitting style. Additionally, don't forget to gather a cable needle, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle for a seamless knitting experience.
The finished size and gauge measurements are taken after washing and blocking, ensuring your blanket turns out perfectly. As always, all my patterns are intended for personal use only. This means you cannot resell the pattern or any blankets made from it. Please note that this unique design shape is officially registered with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
