In addition, we originally suggested using the discontinued Cascade Kid Seta, which features a luxurious blend of 61% super kid mohair, 35% silk, and 4% merino wool. It offers a remarkable 300 yards (275 meters) per 25g (0.88 oz). If you have access to these delightful skeins, you'll need:
- Nr. 22 Powder Blue: 3 skeins
*Note: If Cascade Kid Seta is unavailable, rest assured that your blanket will still be incredibly soft and warm using only the Cascade 128 Superwash yarn.
**Yardage for the Blanket:**
To complete the blanket, you will need approximately 900 yards (823 meters) of yarn in a beautiful combination of white and powder blue. Additionally, for the border, you will require about 100 yards (92 meters) in blue, ensuring a polished and sophisticated finish.
