Hey There Cupcake Sock
Hi, knitters! I can't wait to share my delightful experience of creating this cozy sock. Not only is this pattern intuitive and easy to memorize, but it also leads to a stunning finished product that I'm sure you'll love just as much as I do. This particular sock was specially crafted as a gift for my daughter, and I can confidently say it provides a beautiful fit that hugs her leg comfortably without feeling too tight. If you're in search of a sock pattern that combines both style and comfort, look no further — I absolutely adore this sock pattern, and I believe YOU will too!
Supplies List for Your Perfect Sock
Yarn: You'll need 400 yards of fingering weight yarn for this project. For my sample sock, I chose The Lemonade Shop Sparkle Sock Base to add a touch of shimmer, but feel free to use any yarn you love! Don’t forget to gather some scrap yarn for the cuff, heel, and toe to complete your design.
Needles: For this sock, I recommend using US 1 (2.25mm) needles. Whether you prefer using double-pointed needles (DPNs) or a 9” circular needle, the choice is entirely yours, based on what you're most comfortable with.
Notions: Be sure to have a stitch marker on hand, along with a tapestry needle for weaving in those pesky ends once your sock is complete.
With this engaging pattern, you'll not only create a pair of beautiful socks but also enjoy the process of knitting them. Happy Knitting, and enjoy crafting your new favorite sock!
