We recommend using The Periwinkle Sheep Watercolors, which offers a beautiful 460 yards / 421 meters per 100g skein and is composed of 75% wool and 25% polyamide, ensuring both warmth and durability.

Needles: You will need 2.25 mm double-pointed needles or two circular needles to suit your knitting style, or the size needed to achieve the necessary gauge for your socks.

Gauge: Our specific gauge is 37 stitches x 50 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after blocking. Achieving the correct stitch gauge is crucial for a well-fitting pair of socks, as improper gauge can lead to unwanted sizing issues. Note that row gauge will also impact the overall length of the leg, so be sure to check your gauge before starting.
