Hip to be Square (mittens)

Have you ever become completely enchanted by a fabric you’ve crafted with your yarn and needles, feeling an overwhelming urge to use it in every project? That’s exactly the journey I embarked on while participating in the latest round of the Artesanitarium Design Challenge. This time, we were tasked with creatively combining two design features. After voting among the rhyFlower test team, we unanimously chose to focus on the captivating elements of texture and colorwork. This presented quite a challenge for me! Colorwork has never been my strongest suit, but I embraced the team’s decision, putting my trust in their vision. The result? I fell head over heels in love with the vibrant colors and rich textures of the 'Hip to be Square' pattern, which inspired me to go beyond my original cowl design and expand it into a delightful collection featuring a matching hat and mittens.

'Hip to be Square' is worked seamlessly in the round, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable knitting experience.
